Event Content Creation
Terms & Conditions
By booking Event Content Creation services with Sunkissed Social, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
1. Booking & Payment
Your event date is not secured by submitting an inquiry form. A booking is only confirmed once the required non-refundable retainer has been paid and confirmation has been received from Sunkissed Social.
The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed payment deadline. Services may not be provided if payment has not been received as agreed.
2. Non-Refundable Retainer
All retainers are non-refundable and are used to reserve your event date and time. Once your booking is confirmed, Sunkissed Social may decline other work for that period.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If the Client cancels the event, the retainer will not be refunded.
Requests to reschedule are subject to Sunkissed Social's availability. If the new date is unavailable, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.
In the case of severe weather, venue closure, emergency or other circumstances outside either party's reasonable control, Sunkissed Social will work with the Client to determine an appropriate solution where possible.
4. Coverage Time
Coverage begins and ends at the times stated in your booking confirmation.
If the event begins late, the original end time still applies unless additional coverage is requested and Sunkissed Social is available to accommodate it.
Additional coverage may incur an additional fee.
5. Event Content
Event Content Creation is focused primarily on capturing candid, behind-the-scenes and social-first photo and video content.
Unless photography services are specifically included in your package, Event Content Creation should not be considered a replacement for professional event photography or videography.
Sunkissed Social cannot guarantee that every guest, interaction or moment will be captured.
6. Content Delivery
Content will be delivered digitally within the timeframe stated in your selected package or booking confirmation.
Delivery times may vary depending on the scope of the event, amount of content captured and any additional editing requested.
7. Raw & Edited Content
The exact content included will depend on the package purchased.
Sunkissed Social retains creative discretion over filming, composition, editing, music selection and the final content delivered unless specific requirements have been agreed upon before the event.
Requests for additional edits, videos or content outside the agreed package may incur an additional fee.
8. Social Media & Music
Content may be created specifically for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Sunkissed Social cannot guarantee that music, audio, trends or other platform features will remain available after delivery.
The Client is responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights or permissions for any commercial use of music or third-party materials.
9. Guest Consent & Venue Permissions
The Client is responsible for informing guests that photo and video content may be captured during the event and for obtaining any necessary permissions.
The Client is also responsible for confirming that the venue permits content creation and filming.
10. Client Usage
The Client may use delivered content for personal and/or agreed business social media purposes.
Content may not be sold, licensed to third parties or materially altered in a way that misrepresents Sunkissed Social's work without prior permission.
11. Portfolio & Promotional Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client grants Sunkissed Social permission to use selected content for portfolio, website, social media and promotional purposes.
Clients who require their event to remain private should notify Sunkissed Social in writing before the event.
12. Equipment Failure & Unforeseen Circumstances
Sunkissed Social takes reasonable precautions to protect captured content and maintain equipment. However, in the unlikely event of equipment malfunction, corrupted files, illness, accident or another circumstance outside Sunkissed Social's reasonable control, liability will be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the affected service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Conduct & Safety
Sunkissed Social reserves the right to stop coverage or leave an event if the working environment becomes unsafe, threatening, abusive or inappropriate.
14. Acceptance
Payment of the booking retainer and/or confirmation of the booking constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
